Recently got the opportunity to have a in depth discussion with DJ Sinister (aka Michael Terzian) on his weekly “Salvation From Sin” radio show on CJLO 1690 in Montreal. Oakland Massive running Deep through Tokyo Dawn’s latest offering “The Boogie“. AYBEE and Omega’s “In Every Way” featured along with Blaktroniks featured on Swede:Art’s “I’m A Robot” with LA’s Tokimonsta on remix duties. Tokyo Dawn continuing to establish themselves as Buy-On-Sight.

Rhythm Czar Afrikan Sciences has his joint “5 Spot” from Blaktropolis 2 featured on Giles Peterson’s latest Lefto & Simbad – Worldwide Family Volume 1. Deepblak fam Simbad part of the Double CD with fellow Brownswood artist Lefto. As with most things Gilles this is an essential pick up.

Short little mix I did for man Cez and his Just Good Music (JGM) podcasts series. Really just a recorded practice session that came of pretty good. Deep moody stuff.

The Mighty Jus-Ed dropping the AYBEE Remix of “I’m Coming” at the famed Club 11 in Tokyo. Make sure to grab this release (UQ-033) out on vinyl in about a week which also features a KILLER remix by Levon Vincent.


Recently did and interview with the Deepblak Bredren for Friday Night Sessions (KUSF 90.3). Enjoyed the opportunity to chop shop on music and the general goings-on. Massive respect to Mike B., Cez, Andrew Jervis, and Tomas for the invite. Goodtimes…plenty of comedy hope you enjoy.

Got a chance last Friday to play at a friends (DJ Said) party in SF. We & The Music is the latest installment from Said Adelekan a longtime Fatsouls Records label head, and Don of the SF Deep scene. Said has hosted several iconic names over the years such as Francois K., Ron Trent, Danny Krivit, and Dennis F. just to name a few so when I got the call I was more than honored. His Party is held monthly at 222 Hyde in SF which is home to an unbelievable sound system. I had an amazing time. Here are a few moments from the evening.
